RxSUPPORT: Helping those in need get the medications they need.
The RxSupport Program helps to eliminate the barriers to participation in drug manufacturer programs for those in need in the greater Philadelphia Area. Participation improves patient compliance and patient health while reducing avoidable emergency room visits and hospital stays.
RX SUPPORT PROGRAM
Whether to pay rent, buy food or have prescriptions filled is a choice no one should have to make. Yet the high cost of prescription drugs forces many residents of Montgomery County to go without the prescriptions they need.
Through the RX Support Program eligible Norristown residents have access to free and reduced cost medications from the Pharmacy Assistance Programs of drug manufacturers. This program is funded by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services and through private grant awards.
