About the VNA

Supporting Self-Sufficiency by Meeting Health and Social Service Needs

VNA-Community Services, Inc. (VNA) is a non-profit agency with a focused mission of providing community-based programs that address family health and social service needs and that support individual and family capacity as well as self-sufficiency goals.

VNA Community Services is a United Way Community Impact Partner, also supported by the Pew Fund, individual donations and corporate support.

The organization was founded in 1919 by socially active and concerned volunteers with an interest in identifying and addressing public health concerns. Today, the Organization, through its offices in Abington and Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, serves Central and Eastern Montgomery County and parts of Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware and Bucks Counties, and works to bring lasting and meaningful changes to peoples' lives.

The VNA is committed to the highest professional standards of practice and focuses on meeting individual, family and community needs with efficiency and with the effective utilization of available resources. By improving the health and safety of individuals, the quality of life is enriched and VNA strengthens the health of our greater community.
