Through the United Way of Southeastern PA’s Days of Caring Program, the Visiting Nurse Association-Community Services (VNA) was the recipient of “Welcome Bundles” from the generous employees of Siemens Medical Solutions, USA, Inc.

The employees gathered new clothing, toys, books, diapers and personal care items to be distributed to local infants, children, teens and seniors who often do without the essentials in life. This year’s program yielded more than 160 bundles from the employees of Siemens Medical Solutions.

On October 5, 2005 the items were delivered to the VNA by Siemens employees in “bundles”, labeled by appropriate age categories, to be distributed by VNA personnel to those members in the community who most need them.

VNA provides services to 4,000 individuals each year through the Children’s Health Centers, In-Home Services to the elderly, Preschool Screening Program and RX Support programs. For more information on the VNA please contact the agency at 215-572-7880.
